Keep Music Alive will partner with over 1,000 music schools, stores and other music organizations to hold special events and promotions benefiting and celebrating kids playing music. Events will be held anytime between Friday October 1st (officially Kids Music Day) and Sunday October 10th.

About the Event
The 6th Annual "Kids Music Day" will be celebrated on Friday October 1st, 2021. Each year, Keep Music Alive partners with over 1,000 music schools, music stores and other music organizations around the world to hold special events that benefit and celebrate kids playing music. The goal is to help more kids reap the educational, therapeutic and social benefits of playing music. Events held by participating locations include open houses, instrument petting zoos, free music lessons, student music performances, community/family jams, instrument donation drives, kids open mics and more. Due to the ongoing pandemic, some events and promotions for Kids Music Day will be virtual and also include specials on instruments and lesson programs.
